Terms of Use

You are responsible for providing accurate information and keeping your account secure. Any unauthorised access must be reported to us immediately.

The following actions are strictly prohibited when using PUPO's services:

Reverse engineering, decompiling, copying or redistributing the software source code in any form.

Automated data collection (scraping, crawling, bots) from the website or application without prior written authorisation.

Intentionally interfering with, disrupting or overloading PUPO's systems, servers or networks.

Impersonating PUPO, its staff or other users; creating fake or fraudulent accounts.

Using the services to distribute malware, conduct cyberattacks or engage in any unlawful activity.

Data you enter into the application (lists, notes, business information) is your property. PUPO has no right to use this content for commercial purposes.

We may use fully aggregated and anonymised data to improve products and conduct research - no identifying information is retained in this process.

When using chat, shared photos or any group feature, you must not post content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, defamatory, obscene, infringing, or that violates the privacy of others.

We use automated moderation and may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules. You can report abusive content or members to support@pupo.vn.

You are solely responsible for the content you share and for how you interact with other members.

Location sharing is optional and controlled by you. Real-time location may be inaccurate or delayed and must not be relied upon for safety-critical or life-critical decisions.

The SOS feature simply alerts the other members of your trip with your location. It is NOT an emergency service and does not contact police, ambulance or any public emergency number. In a real emergency, always call your local emergency services (e.g. 112/113/115 in Vietnam).

The expense-splitting, balances, settlement and group-fund features are record-keeping and calculation tools only. PUPO does not process, hold, transfer or guarantee any money, and is not a payment, e-wallet, banking or financial service.

Any debts, contributions or settlements are agreements solely between trip members. Actual money changes hands outside the app, and PUPO is not a party to and bears no responsibility for those transactions or for the accuracy of amounts you enter.

Maps, place search and address data are provided by third parties (e.g. Mapbox, Goong, OpenStreetMap). We do not guarantee their accuracy, completeness or availability, and are not liable for decisions made based on them.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use the services. By using the app you confirm that you meet this requirement.

An account with no login activity for 24 consecutive months is considered inactive.

We will send an email notification 30 days before deleting an inactive account. Data will be permanently deleted after that deadline unless you log in to reactivate the account.

Comply with Vietnamese law and applicable regulations when using our services.

Do not provide false information, commit fraud, or damage system infrastructure.

PUPO may suspend accounts that violate these terms, and may modify or discontinue services with reasonable notice. Anonymised data may be used for research purposes while maintaining service stability.

PUPO reserves the right to permanently discontinue all or part of its services with a minimum of 60 days' notice via email and in-app notification.

Upon termination, you may export all your data during the notice period. After the service ends, PUPO will delete user data within 90 days.

PUPO is not liable for compensation due to service termination beyond the obligations stated above.

Services are provided "as is" and "as available". PUPO makes no express or implied warranties regarding continuity, error-free operation, or fitness for any particular purpose.

Users bear full responsibility for any business, financial or operational decisions made based on information from the application.

All content, design, source code, logos, trademarks and materials on this website are the intellectual property of PUPO. Commercial use requires prior written permission.

For software projects developed by PUPO under contract, ownership of source code and delivered assets belongs to the client per the agreement.

PUPO is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the service.

PUPO's total liability in any circumstance shall not exceed the amount you have paid for the service in the preceding 12 months. For free services, the maximum liability is zero.

This limitation does not apply to damages caused by PUPO's wilful misconduct or gross negligence under Vietnamese law.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

For free services: no refund obligations arise.

For paid services (when applicable): PUPO will consider refunds within 7 days of payment if a fault on PUPO's side renders the service unusable. After 7 days or once the service has been used, fees are non-refundable.

Under Vietnamese Consumer Protection Law, mandatory refund rights apply when the service does not match its description or when the fault originates from the provider.

These terms are governed by Vietnamese law. Disputes will be resolved through negotiation; failing that, through competent Vietnamese courts.

PUPO's software products are currently provided free of charge to all users.

We reserve the right to introduce paid plans or a freemium model in the future based on our business direction.

Any pricing changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance via the application or email. Existing users will continue to have free access until the new policy takes effect.

If you do not agree with the new pricing policy, you may cancel your account before the effective date with no obligations. Fees already paid (if any) are non-refundable per the refund policy in effect at that time.
